Cheryl Nong

Cheryl is a second-year doctoral student in the NICE lab. She received her BS in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Toronto, where she also worked as a research coordinator conducting qualitative research on student experiences and belonging. Cheryl’s research explores how our social identities inform the ways we perceive, move through, and attempt to change the world around us, with a particular focus on STEM fields and higher education environments. Outside of the lab, she can usually be found writing, baking, or listening to music.
